Download and install Traccar Client from the Playstore or App-Store. For older Android-Phones you might look at F-Droid for compatible versions.

After installing Traccar Client, make sure to set the permissions to "allow all the time" and to disable battery optimization.

Settings:

• Copy the key into Device identifier
• Server URL:
• Location accuracy: "high"
• Interval: "600"
• Distance: 0
• Angle: 0
Advanced settings:
• Fastest interval: 30
• Offline buffering: on
• Stop detection: off
• (Android) Wake lock: on
• Password: (none)

Once you are done, click Send location, wait a while, go to "Rider's Overview" and check your position.
